French team Vitality claims victory at IEM Cologne 2024, with Ukrainian team NAVI taking second place in a showcase of top-tier Counter-Strike 2 competition.

The French squad Vitality has triumphed at the IEM Cologne 2024 tournament, clinching the top spot and a hefty $400,000 prize. Apart from the monetary reward, Vitality secured invitations to the upcoming IEM Katowice 2025 in Poland, as well as the BLAST Premier World Final in the United Arab Emirates. Their victory also earned them 3,000 points towards the BLAST Premier ranking, a significant contribution to their team standings.

The Ukrainian team NAVI put up a strong fight but ultimately finished in second place, securing $180,000 and 2,000 BLAST Premier points. This performance underscores the high level of Ukrainian esports and NAVI's ambition to lead in the global Counter-Strike 2 rankings.
